Prince George

I am a big royal fan. I'm not a commemorative crockery, gilded silver spoon, porcelain corgie kind of fan (Although these plates are all kinds of awesome. . . .) but I do get excited about the weddings and babies and other hoo-ha that comes with the most famous family in the world. (Kardashians aside)

I'm a big fan of traditions and I love the monarchy and our history. I'm sad though that I will never again see a bloodline Queen rule the country now that we have George and I'm not ashamed to say that I will be sad when our Queen passes on. America may have the first black President but our Queen is the tits.

My current route from train station to work consists of a 30min walk these days. I refuse to get on the tube and have come to love my walk to the office which takes me past the hospital that Kate was in. I made a couple of routine stops there once she had been admitted and I stood around amongst the circus enjoying the atmosphere and praying that Harry would make a surprise appearance and I could beg to become the 'Duchess of Slough'. It has such a charming ring to it. Sadly there was no such opportunity.

So I avidly watched the news instead for the first glimpse of Prince George and I swooned in jealousy as they finally stepped out of the LindoWing looking perfect and holding our future King. I can't even begin to imagine how weird it must have felt for Kate to be pushing out this lovely bundle of joy and thinking that he will one day rule the country. He is one precious cargo.

I also need to have a daughter soon so I can become the next Carole Middleton.

I love my home inspiration #2

I love an attractive set of stairs and I definitely want to make my future home stairs into something special and make them a feature especially if they are stairs that are face on with the front door so you are welcomed to the house with a *POW*!

If you suffer podophobia look away now

A friend recently sent me a video which I loved.

'MOVE

3 guys, 44 days, 11 countries, 18 flights, 38 thousand miles, an exploding volcano, 2 cameras and almost a terabyte of footage... all to turn 3 ambitious linear concepts based on movement, learning and food ....into 3 beautiful and hopefully compelling short films..... = a trip of a lifetime. move, eat, learn
Rick Mereki : Director, producer, additional camera and editing
Tim White : DOP, producer, primary editing, sound
Andrew Lees : Actor, mover, groover'

MOVE from Rick Mereki on Vimeo.

So not only is the guy in it some serious eye-candy but the film sets my wanderlust off. So many places to travel, so little time.
It also got me thinking that I never did something or took a certain photo in every place that I have visited. *Annoying*

Not even a plank at the Opera House, a pout on the Great Wall or a cute teddy bear snap at the Taj. Damn.

But then I realised that I have feet! I don't know why, let's not question it, it's all I've got. . . . Feet. Foot. Kitten. Podophobia.
